ICBC OT Services

We are one of the approved occupational therapy services provider for individuals funded under ICBC’s Enhanced Accident Benefits.

We provide the following services:

• Hospital Discharge Coordination
  • We are able to assist with hospital discharge coordination by assuming a quick response role. We are able to provide pre-discharge home assessments and coordinate with the hospitals for a safe discharge home.

• Case Management
  • We are only able to accommodate case management for children and youth. We are able to liaise with family, school and other health professionals for your complex medical needs.

• Wheelchair and Seating Assessment
  • We work in collaboration with medical equipment providers in the comprehensive assessment of seating, positioning and other mobility devices that will be beneficial for you to function daily post-MVA.

• Home Health Safety and Home Modification Assessments
• We work to assess the initial need for home health safety (including recommendations for bedroom and bathroom safety such as grab bars, bath seats, lifts and transfers) and identifying medically necessary home modifications needed for home accessibility post-MVA.

• Specialized Standardized Assessments
  • Standardized testing for cognition such as MoCA, RBMT, CAM, Multiple Errands Test and Assessment for Motor and Process Skills (AMPS)
